I am 14. My dad has an '85 Mercury Grand Marquis with the 302 V-8. This car's body is in bad shape. I have been driving in my yard for about a year now. I can drive on the road sometimes. I was driving around on our dead end road, which is about 2 miles of almost straight road. I went in the house for a while to get a pop. Then I came back out and drove out of the driveway, put her in reverse, gave her hell and the tires squealed pretty loudly. I backed up about 100 feet and thought if it can do that in reverse, I will try to burn 'em in drive. I put it in drive and put her to the floor. The tires were howling for a bit then the ass moved to the left about four feet. I thought that was kinda cool but, not satisfied, I backed up again. This time I put it in first on the column and put the brakes on. I stomped on it, then I heard three chirps, then they were spinning. I kept it down for about 5 seconds and looked back and HOLY SHIT, smoke everywhere, so I put it into second because rpms were raging. They kept rolling for another 2 seconds. When I let off the brake and it lurched forward and the ass came around about four feet again. During all this I hadn't realized I had moved ahead a good 20-30 feet, leaving good evidence to my dad of my fun. I told him it was the neighbor kid. wehhh! Close call! I never thought that rust bucket had it in it. I hope to get a pic of it sooner or later. BURNOUTS ARE FUN!!!!
