Well I tell you all out there say the FORD suck, I could change your mind if I could take you for a drive. The first time I ever smoked up the back wheels, it was after I had my Cobra for about a week after I bought it. The first few days I babied the car. It was on a Sunday and I was cruising throughout town and pulled out from Burger King and a bunch of nerds were waving for me to spin my wheels. Me, having no idea how much power I actually had, performed one of my coolest burnouts of all time. I did it by letting the car coast out onto the street, I didn't know how much power I had, revved the engine to 5100 rpm, (I did this so there would guarantee at least a little spin of the wheels). Spin they did!! The car practially stood still as the back tires fried, snapping the car into second gear and left a set of burn marks about 25 feet!!
Another incident was when I tried to do a burnout with the brakes partially applied, enough to creep along around a turn, and that didn't work to well! I did a complete 180 degree spinout. Now the Cobra has a nitrous kit, and I tinkered with the engine until I finally reached 304 hp @ 5250 rpm, from the factory the 5.0L Mustang had 225hp @ 5400 rpm.
Now I steet race the Cobra in the 1/4 mile and only lost twice, once to a 1989 Mustang GT with a 1/4 mile time of 11.31 @ 119 mph. In that race I had a time of 11.47 @ 112 mph.
Well, that's all my most exciting burnout stories. You can see some pic's of my 1994 Cobra in the picture section, so take a look (Pic 1 Pic 2). AND not ONE single part of this story is made up. Thank the creator of this page for putting up the pic's of my Cobra and thank you for reading my story.
